Anthony Nunziata, the popular Brooklyn-born, Nashville-based singer-songwriter and frequent performer at clubs throughout Palm Beach County and South Florida, has released a new Christmas album and will celebrate the classic musical assemblage with a 17-city holiday tour — including a show Dec. 2 at Café Centro in West Palm Beach and Dec. 20 at Sunshine Cathedral in Fort Lauderdale.
“Order your signed copies of the album by Nov. 21 for holiday delivery,” he said. “This project is truly special to me -13 brand-new original Christmas songs that I co-wrote with some of the top hitmakers in country and pop music,” said Anthony. “We recorded the album at the legendary Sound Emporium Studios in Nashville, and it was produced by Ryan Prewett.”
“Christmas & You” highlights Nunziata’s signature soulful pop voice and heartfelt songwriting. The genres span the holiday musical spectrum from the Motown flavor of “My Every Wish” and spiritual and faith-affirming songs like “The Miracle” to the acoustic “Heavenly Father” as well as the classical-crossover and Spanish-language anthem “El Regalo Eres Tú” and the country-camp song “Fill My Stocking Up with Coal.”
Nunziata’s songwriting collaborators have included Jane Bach (Reba McEntire, Jo Dee Messina and Ray Price); Peter Bliss (Barbra Streisand, Paula Abdul, NSYNC); Jeff Franzel (Taylor Dayne, Shawn Colvin, Placido Domingo) and Rudy Pérez (Jennifer Lopez, Beyoncé, Christina Aguilera).
Anthony Nunziata, Peter Parry, Jeff Brinkmann, Michael Schaefer and Paul Moskowitz served as executive producers for the album released through the Nunztunes Label.
Known for his soaring voice, captivating and theatrical stage presence and a unique blend of classical, pop and soulful originals, Nunziata brings his expressive vocals to classic jazz, pop standards, Italian arias and his timeless original music.
He recently headlined a sold-out debut at the legendary Café Carlyle in New York City. He has been invited to be a headline soloist for more than two dozen symphony orchestras around the world, including co-headlining Carnegie Hall with the New York Pops Symphony Orchestra.
He has performed more than 400 concerts over the past decade, headlining at major performing arts centers, theaters, symphony concert halls, jazz clubs and private events. The classically trained singer is hailed by BroadwayWorld as “an explosion of love and entertainment.”
He has brought his fresh take on classic and contemporary songs to performing arts centers and theaters as well as intimate jazz clubs and symphony concerts with orchestras such as the New York Pops, Detroit Symphony, Cleveland Pops, Colorado Symphony, Kravis Pops, American Pops Orchestra, Annapolis Symphony, Plymouth Symphony, Cape Cod Symphony, Toledo Symphony, Edmonton Symphony Orchestra, Corning Pops Orchestra, South Florida Symphony and the Indianapolis Chamber Orchestra & Symphonic Choir, among others.
Anthony’s recent original songs include collaborations with Gian Stone, Rudy Perez, Tia Sillers, Tommy Karlas, Michael Feinstein, Blessing Offor, Tigirlily, Victoria Shaw, Jim Brickman, Jackie Evancho, Jeff Franzel, Tom Kimmel, Maria Christensen, Nina Ossoff and Porter Carroll Jr., Kathy Sommer, Jasmine Power, and Dan Godlin.
His original pop song “The Gift Is You” – which he wrote to honor his mother’s battle with breast cancer (she is now cancer-free) – is currently being used as an anthem for The Susan G. Komen Foundation.
Anthony studied music, acting and directing at Boston College and trained in improv comedy at the famed Upright Citizens Brigade in New York City. He is most proud of his ARTS MATTER! Educational Outreach Initiative and Master Class Workshops that educate and inspire students to fearlessly pursue their passions.
Nunziata is also an avid pickleball player.
