The Playhouse 2024-2025 Season will feature top-tier performers, classic musicals, comedy, and nostalgia.

DELRAY BEACH, FL: The Delray Beach Playhouse announced its lineup for the 2024-2025 season today, and once again the beloved venue will offer a wide variety of programming designed to please its long-time patrons, as well as to attract new and diverse audiences to what is often referred to as ‘the gem of a theatre on the shores of Lake Ida.’

AVENTURA, Fla. – The City of Aventura will add some heat to the summer entertainment schedule with the Aventura Summer Concert Series coming to the Aventura Arts & Cultural Center and featuring three rockin’ tributes to yacht rock, R&B and rock royalty before cooling off with smooth bossa nova harmonies.

When the former Caldwell Theater went dark in spring 2013, drama-lovers in Boca Raton and beyond figured the odds of ever seeing performers on the stage of the venue at 7901 North Federal Highway again were pretty slim.

From February 15 to March 3, theatergoers at the Lauderhill Performing Arts Center (LPAC) got a show-stopping glimpse into the “soul of rock ‘n’ roll.” Memphis, the award-winning musical that dazzled audiences for years on Broadway before moving on to a national tour and West End run, is back for its third showing in South Florida. Third time is certainly the charm for this phenomenal production, as its cast received a special surprise—a visit from Joe DiPietro, who wrote the book and co-wrote the lyrics for Memphis (with Bon Jovi legend David Bryan).

West Palm Beach, Fla. – One of Palm Beach Dramaworks’ most inspiring evenings, the presentation of the winning plays of the Young Playwrights 10-Minute Play Contest (YPC), took place at the Don & Ann Brown Theatre on Wednesday, February 28. The 10 winning plays received staged readings by professional actors in front of an enthusiastic audience.
