Have you ever seen a witch living in a retirement home? Anyone who hasn’t experienced such a mystical sight can do so starting Feb. 27 when the musical comedy, Confessions of a Retired Witch, marks its world premiere at the Studio, 201 Plaza Real in Boca Raton’s Mizner Park.

      South Florida Symphony Orchestra will perform “Don Juan” by Richard Strauss as the featured attraction in addition to three other compositions for their upcoming Valentine’s Day 7:30 p.m. concerts on Wednesday, Feb. 12 at The Parker in Ft. Lauderdale and Saturday,  Feb. 15 at New World Center in Miami Beach.

Christine Dolen, the Miami Herald’s theater critic for almost four decades passed away at 74 years old after a progressive lung disease.

A talented performer with multiple theatrical abilities returns to Fort Lauderdale this week to direct the Empire Stage and ArtBuzz Theatrics’ powerful production of David Mamet’s award-winning drama, Glengarry Glen Ross, opening Feb. 7 at the North Flagler Drive performance center.
