PPTOPA HAS MAGIC TO DO WITH SPRING PRODUCTION OF PIPPIN

The Pembroke Pines Theatre of the Performing Arts (PPTOPA) presents a reimagined production of the classic musical Pippin April 15-30, 2023. With an infectiously unforgettable score from four-time Grammy winner, three-time Oscar winner and musical theatre giant, Stephen Schwartz, the PPTOPA production is set in the Summer of Love 1967, the year Stephen Schwartz wrote the musical while a student at Carnegie Mellon University for the Scotch & Soda Club.

Tickets are on sale now at https://our.show/pptopaPippin. Ticket prices are $35.00 for adults and $25.00 for students and seniors (62+). Show times are Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00pm and Saturdays and Sundays at 2:00pm. All performances are at the Susan B. Katz Theatre at the River of Grass Arts Park located at 17195 Sheridan St., Pembroke Pines 33331.

Pippin is the story of one young man’s journey to be extraordinary. Winner of four 2013 Tony Awards including Best Musical Revival, the show features music theatre favorites like Magic to Do, Corner of the Sky, No Time at All and Simple Joys. The updated version of Pippin continues to captivate and appeal to the young at heart throughout the world. PPTOPA’s production is helmed by Director Richard Weinstock with Musical Direction by Michael Day and Choreography by Del Marrero. The show features a local star-studded cast including Christina Carlucci* (Leading Player), Stefano Galeb (Pippin), Lito Becerra (Charlemagne), CristaMarie DeVito (Fastrada), Lisa Lowe (Lewis), Anna Cappelli (Catherine), Jorge Amador (Theo), and Lory Reyes (Berthe), with an ensemble featuring Del Marrero, Shelby Tudor, Cassidy Joseph, and Spencer Landis.
