CLASSIC ROCK, COMEDY, MAGIC AND MORE SIZZLE ON STAGE AT THE PARKER THIS JULY

A sizzling slate of stand-up comedy, magic, classic rock and more will enthrall audiences this July at the Lillian S. Wells Hall at The Parker.

The Broward Center for the Performing Arts and Outback Presents bring stand-up comedian Tony Hinchcliffe: The Fully Groan Tour to The Parker on Saturday, July 13 at 7 p.m.  The host of the popular live podcast Kill Tony, he is based out of The Comedy Store in Los Angeles. In 2020, he began hosting an online course on “Roasting” called RoastMaster Class, drawing from his over decade-long knowledge of writing for eight Comedy Central Roasts and performing on roasts and roast battles. This event will be a phone-free experience. Use of cellphones, smart watches, smart accessories, cameras, or recording devices will not be permitted in the performance space.

The Broward Center for the Performing Arts and Outback present Justin Willman: Illusionati Tour on stage at The Parker on Friday, July 19 at 7 p.m. Best known as the star and creator of the hit Netflix series Magic For Humans and The Magic Prank Show, Justin Willman is a magician and comedian who’s mastered the art of turning cynics into believers and making audiences laugh while melting their brains with his unique brand of magic and comedy. He has appeared on television’s The Tonight Show, The Today Show, Ellen and Conan, and has hosted Baking Impossible; Cupcake Wars and Win, Lose or Draw. Justin Willman’s ILLUSIONATI tour is an interactive evening of magic, comedy and mind-control for the whole family, one that will have audience members joining a secret society of wonder where the only conspiracy theories are about how the heck any of it is possible.

Audiences will be treated to an unparalleled musical experience as the Broward Center for the Performing Arts and Live Nation present Our House: Music of Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young as part of The Cleveland Clinic Rock Series on Saturday, July 20 at 8 p.m. at The Parker. An extraordinary ensemble of family and friends assemble to perform the Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young repertoire, with legendary CSNY photographer Henry Diltz and recording engineer Stephen Barncard spinning tall tales that can be heard nowhere else except on this tour. A stellar, historic lineup sets apart this concert, featuring James Raymond (son of David Crosby), Astrid Young (sister of Neil Young), Steve Postell (guitarist & musical director with David Crosby & The Immediate Family), Berry Duane Oakley (guitar & vocals, Allman Betts Band, Live Dead & Brothers), Jeff Pevar (lead guitar, David Crosby, Graham Nash, CSN, Phil Lesh), Steve DiStanislao (drums, David Crosby, David Gilmour), Michelle Wills (keyboards, David Crosby) and Elijah Thomson (bass, Father John Misty). Audiences can anticipate an immersive journey through classic hits such as “Déjà vu,” “Wooden Ships,” “Helpless,” and “Carry On,” delivered with the finesse that only Our House: Music of Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young performed by family and friends can provide.

The Broward Center and AEG Presents ShxtsNGigs: Daddy’s Home Tour as part of the Truist Comedy Series at the Parker on Friday, July 26 at 7:30 p.m. The Daddy’s Home Tour promises unfiltered chats, hilarious debates, outrageous games, and a chance to meet the cult daddies FireLord Fuegs and JMoney, hosts of the award-winning podcast ShxtsNGigs and best known for their infectious laughs, comical debates and honest opinions on UK pop culture. A destination for culturally relevant commentary, ShxtsNGigs has rapidly risen to become one of the most prominent podcasts globally, with content and episodes regularly generating millions of views in the space of hours. This show is not recommended for audience members under 12 years of age.
