MIAMI MUSIC PROJECT FUNDRAISES FOR 2025 GIVE MIAMI DAY

Miami Music Project is proud to announce its participation in the 2025 Give Miami Day, one of the nation’s largest annual giving campaigns. Building on strong community support and measurable student success, the organization has set a $100,000 goal to sustain and expand its life-changing music education programs, ensuring Miami’s youth have pathways for development.

“We believe that the key to a better Miami is giving our children the tools they need to thrive and succeed in life,” said President and CEO of Miami Music Project, Anna Klimala. “Give Miami Day invites the entire community to do the same by investing in local nonprofits that open pathways to opportunities for children throughout Miami-Dade. Join us!”

Miami Music Project’s extraordinary 17-year journey of transforming the lives of aspiring musicians and fostering a deep love for music stands as a testament to its steadfast commitment to the community. By participating in Give Miami Day, the organization aims to amplify the life-changing force and social impact of its mission, creating new opportunities for even more young learners, such as Mitchlissa, an 8-year-old violin student from the Little Haiti Chapter. In the words of her mother, Mispatch:

“Mitchlissa talks about music and the violin every single day,” says Mispatch. “She looks forward to Daddy’s birthday to play Happy Birthday and classical music. That makes me so happy! I also love volunteering at the Little Haiti Chapter. I love attending concerts and staying after to help.”

Mitchlissa’s father, Patrick, added: “We have three kids, two boys and one girl. All of them participate in the program. Miami Music Project has a wonderful effect on our family and the community. We would never have access to professionals such as these, and the program makes that possible for free.”

This year, Give Miami Day presents a unique opportunity to extend giving beyond the official Give Miami Day date on Thursday, November 20, from 12 a.m. to 11:59 pm EST. Donors may provide funds via GiveMiamiDay.org/organization/MiamiMusicProject during an Early Giving donation period from Saturday, November 15 through Wednesday, November 19. Miami Music Project seeks to meet an ambitious fundraising goal of $100,000, with gifts starting at just $25, and aims to secure support from an increased number of 130 unique donors. All donations will help transform the lives of children across Miami-Dade County through the power of music. Through Give Miami Day, Miami Music Project looks forward to strengthening connections, creativity, and collaborations.

Spearheaded by The Miami Foundation, Give Miami Day represents one of the most impactful annual online giving events in the Southeast United States. Its mission is to provide unrestricted funding to nonprofit organizations, contributing to their visibility, growth, and sustainability in operations while offering monetary prizes that boost earnings. The event is also an opportunity to bring together nonprofits of all sizes in capacity and community-building activities that create a new standard for fundraising in Miami.
