A sizzling slate of stand-up comedy, magic, classic rock and more will enthrall audiences this July at the Lillian S. Wells Hall at The Parker.

The Broward Center for the Performing Arts and Outback Presents bring stand-up comedian Tony Hinchcliffe: The Fully Groan Tour to The Parker on Saturday, July 13 at 7 p.m.  The host of the popular live podcast Kill Tony, he is based out of The Comedy Store in Los Angeles. In 2020, he began hosting an online course on “Roasting” called RoastMaster Class, drawing from his over decade-long knowledge of writing for eight Comedy Central Roasts and performing on roasts and roast battles. This event will be a phone-free experience. Use of cellphones, smart watches, smart accessories, cameras, or recording devices will not be permitted in the performance space.

The Aventura Arts & Cultural Center, which has hosted such legendary Broadway stars as Patti LuPone, Bernadette Peters and Mandy Patinkin, is proud to announce the 2025 Broadway Concert Series presented by the City of Aventura featuring the original stars of several Broadway blockbusters.

In advance of Juneteenth, The Parker will host Hued Songs: The Juneteenth Experience, a groundbreaking, immersive celebration of film, music, dance, poetry, multimedia elements and more, at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, June 14.

This past weekend was the closing performance of “Don Juan: Pride and Paradise” presented by Maroon Isle Productions at Main Street Players. Adapted from the translated Molière play “Don Juan”, playwright/director/actor Sefanja R. Galon has taken the original 1665 comedy about a misogynist navigating his way through the ups and downs of multiple romantic situations and sets it in the Caribbean in the 1950’s. In doing so, Galon gives way for a diverse cast to tell a classic story in their own unique voice. 

In response to a growing year-round demand for high quality cultural programming, the Adolph & Rose Levis JCC has announced a season of diverse cultural programming which includes a special Summer Film Series, a new component of the Judy Levis Krug Boca Raton Jewish Film Festival.
