Written by two-time Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Lynn Nottage (MJ the Musical) and featuring an all-local cast, CLYDE’S kicks off Zoetic Stage’s 14th season at the Arsht Center.

Take a dive into 90s nostalgia as South Florida’s Top Drag Performers transform into the film’s iconic characters. Quote, laugh, and sing along with your favorite scenes as they tell the story of three wacky witches, accidentally resurrected by teen pranksters on Halloween night in 1993.
The highly anticipated annual Daniel Lewis Dance Sampler returns for its 13th edition with performances on two Florida coasts, in Miami and Naples. With some of the best of the state’s companies and choreographers, the programs feature a curated group of ten works. Named for the Founding Dean of the Dance Department of New World School of the Arts (NWSA), the showcase of short pieces and excerpts launches the season of dance in Southeast and Southwest Florida. This year, the Sampler will be presented earlier than usual, on Friday, October 6, at Artis–Naples Hayes Hall, and Saturday, October 7 and Sunday October 8, at Miami’s New World Dance School of the Arts Dance Theater.
FORT LAUDERDALE – When the late Tony and Pulitzer Prize winning composer and lyricist Stephen Sondheim invited audiences to go with him Into the Woods, they found it populated with characters uprooted from childhood fairy tales in a forest deeply shaded by adult longings, disappointments, trials, tragedies and a few hard-won triumphs.
Pompano Beach Arts invites you to enjoy a uniquely inventive and original musical artist, Joey Chang, AKA Cello Joe, who combines beatboxing and cello in his innovative “Classical Hip-Hop” sound. This one-of-a-kind artist performs internationally mixing live recordings and loop pedals to create harmonious melodies across various genres, from folk and rock to dubstep and classical. Making his hypnotic sound even more of an experience, this event will feature a stunning video wall to fully immerse guests into this cool vibe. The death Sept. 17 of long-time Lake Worth Playhouse Executive Director Stephanie Smith continues to weigh heavily on the staff, stage crew and actors at the downtown Lake Worth Beach Playhouse which is just now beginning its 71st production season.
The Wick Theatre opens the 2023-2024 season with a celebration of its 10th anniversary by bringing back to their stage a beloved musical featuring an extravagant array of Irving Berlin’s greatest songs. I Love a Piano, directed by D.J. Salisbury, is the critically acclaimed musical tribute to one of America’s greatest composers and lyricists, with beloved songs like “Puttin’ on the Ritz,” “There’s No Business Like Show Business,” “Anything You Can Do” and “God Bless America.” Conceived by Ray Roderick and Michael Berkeley, the show captures the American spirit and tells the touching stories that connect us all.
