IT’S ALIVE! YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN BRINGS SPOOKY LAUGHS TO MIAMI BEACH – JUST IN TIME FOR HALLOWEEN

Mel Brooks’ Monster Musical Reanimates at the Colony Theatre, October 10–19, 2025

Back by popular demand, Loxen Entertainment is resurrecting its hit production of Young Frankenstein, Mel Brooks’ monstrously funny  musical comedy, for a limited run at the Colony Theatre on Lincoln Road.

From October 10 through October 19, 2025, audiences can join Dr. Frederick  Frankenstein (that’s Fronk-en-steen!) and his quirky companions for a spook-tacular night  of laughter, music, and frightfully good fun—perfectly timed for the Halloween season

Based on Brooks’ legendary film, this side-splitting musical follows Frederick as he inherits  his infamous grandfather’s castle in Transylvania and discovers the secrets of bringing a  creature to life—with the help of his loyal hunchback Igor (Eye-gore), the charming Inga,  and the mysterious Frau Blücher (cue the horses!). What ensues is a madcap adventure  filled with outrageous songs, tap-dancing monsters, and classic comedy that has  audiences howling with laughter.

“After the incredible response we received in 2023, we couldn’t resist bringing Young  Frankenstein back to Miami,” said Benjamin Leon IV, founder of Loxen Productions and star  of the show. “The Colony Theatre is the perfect stage to reawaken this hilarious  production—and what better way to celebrate October than with a musical that’s equal  parts Broadway brilliance and Halloween treat?”

Joining Leon is a stellar cast featuring Corey Vega as Igor, Daniella Alexis Santos as Inga,  Irene Gonzalez as Frau Blücher, Fabiana Cueto as Elizabeth Benning, Javi Cabrera as The  Monster and Craig DeArr as The Hermit/Inspector Hans Kemp, and a host of other talented  South Florida artists.

Directed by the award-winning Gonzalo Rodríguez, with musical direction by Gio Tio, Young Frankenstein features dazzling choreography by Imran Hylton, inventive staging, and  all the unforgettable numbers fans love, including “Puttin’ on the Ritz.”
