HISTORY FORT LAUDERDALE PRESENTS “NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM: PORCH PARTY” – An Evening of Heritage, Hospitality, and Community Connection

History Fort Lauderdale, proud steward of our community’s past by making our heritage accessible and engaging to residents and visitors, will present “Night at the Museum: Porch Party” on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, from 5 to 8 p.m. Guests are invited to enjoy an evening under the stars featuring self-guided access to museum exhibitions, light bites and beverages on the museum’s iconic porch.

This after-hours event will transform the museum’s historic campus into a welcoming space for history enthusiasts, supporters, and the local community. Attendees are encouraged to network and explore Fort Lauderdale’s remarkable past in a warm and welcoming setting.

“This is an exciting time for History Fort Lauderdale as we grow and expand programs,” said Patricia Zeiler, executive director of History Fort Lauderdale. “We are excited to host this new event concept to make new friends, increase our membership, and share our permanent and recent exhibitions.”

History Fort Lauderdale is open seven days a week from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. with docent guided tours, daily, at 1, 2 and 3 p.m. Group walking tours are available upon special request. Admission is $15 for adults; $12 for seniors and $7 for students (through age 22 with a valid student ID). Admission is free for members, military and children ages six and under. Porch Party admission is $15 for museum members and $25 for non-members. Guests are encouraged to reserve their spot at historyfortlauderdale.org. Space is limited, and early RSVPs are recommended to ensure entry.
