The event will showcase the debut of an abstract new collaboration between internationally lauded opera star Amy Shoremount-Obra, renowned musicians pianist Bradley Moore, violinist Eric Silberger, violinist Mann-Wen Lo and award-winning visual artist Serena Bocchino. The Center’s intimate Carnival Studio Theater will be transformed into the gritty Kit-Kat Klub, where audiences will be surrounded by dancers and musicians. For the past year, musician Joe Hite has recreated the music of Barry Manilow with his eight piece band in a tribute to the famed singer/songwriter in a show titled “Daybreak:The Music and Passion of Barry Manilow” to be performed on Sunday, March 3 in two shows at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. at the Boca Black Box Center for the Arts in Boca Raton.
Musical Masterpiece Carousel Waltzes into The Wick Theatre Working Carousel to Grace Outdoor Area for Guests to Enjoy
Prepare to be swept away by the musical masterpiece Carousel at The Wick Theatre in Boca Raton. This iconic Rodgers and Hammerstein production features a treasure trove of timeless songs including “If I Loved You,” “Carousel Waltz,” “June is Bustin’ Out All Over,” and the anthemic “You’ll Never Walk Alone.” Adding to the theatrical presentation, The Wick will have a stunning, 10-seat carousel spinning in the lot outside the theater for guests to enjoy. The show runs February 29-March 24, 2024 with evening shows on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays at 7:30pm, and matinees on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays at 2pm.
