ACTORS’ REP TO OFFER ‘OPEN HOURS’ WITH FREE USE OF THEATRE FACILITIES FOR COMMUNITY MEMBERS IN 2022

Starting in 2022, Actors’ Rep will be offering FREE open hours weekly, opening our doors and our available studio/classroom facilities. 

Whether you’re an actor or an aspiring actor or musician or a dancer or a visual artist or a graphic designer or a writer or a student or a human with thoughts and ideas in need of putting down/getting out, if you need a place, we want to be a place for you! We believe that theatres should be more like libraries than bookstores, and the launch of this program is a step we’re taking in an effort to walk the walk we talk. 

This program is being developed in an effort to make ourselves and our facilities more available to our community, and in the hopes that we can engage with and uplift the work of artists in our community who perhaps wouldn’t want to come to an acting class but who maybe could use our space, our resources, or our support in other creative and/or commons-based activities.

Schedule: 

-Mondays 5pm-10pm 

-Wednesdays 1pm-6pm 

-Saturday’s & Sunday’s* 10-6

Actor’s Rep., a 501 (3c) non-profit organization, is now in its thirty seventh year. Since 1980, the company is known for its strong training programs for actors of all ages, and its productions of daring, avant garde, and seldom-seen classic plays. New classes are underway for children, teens, and adults in beginning and advanced acting and improvisation.
