Festival of the Arts BOCA is preparing for its 17th season in 2023 with confidence that the COVID pandemic that mucked up many of its recent presentations has subsided enough for the traditional event to “go live” for its entirety starting March 3.

“From the Young People’s Chorus of New York City and Young Singers of the Palm Beaches to the Rotary Club Future Stars Competition, this year’s program highlights our mission of promoting the spirit and talent of our youth,” said Joanna Marie Kaye, the Festival’s executive director.  

FORT LAUDERDALE – Producer Mark Cortale’s internationally acclaimed Broadway Concert Series hosted and music directed by Sirius XM Radio star Seth Rudetsky, whom the New York Times dubbed “The Mayor of Broadway,” returns to Lillian S. Wells Hall in The Parker with Tony® and Drama Desk Award Winners and critically acclaimed powerhouse talents Chita Rivera, Ramin Karimloo and Jessie Mueller.

AVENTURA, Fla. (October 3, 2022) – Presented by the City of Aventura, the 2023 Aventura Broadway Concert Series at the Aventura Arts & Cultural Center will feature three Tony Award® winners in its intimate setting and culminate in an evening with a SiriusXM’s On Broadway channel favorite.

FORT LAUDERDALE – The Broward Center for the Performing Arts is seeking applications from Black performing artists for participation in a series of events including theater, dance, music, spoken word and comedy in its traditional performance spaces as well as an outdoor festival.

The paid performance opportunities are offered as part of the Center’s Arts for Action: Black Voices initiative, which aims to use the arts as a catalyst to heighten awareness, deepen knowledge, create connections and elevate the voices of Black creatives in South Florida. The Arsht Center shares a “Best Long Form Music Video” nomination as associate producer of Siudy Garrido’s documentary “Bailaora – This is my voice”

Miami, FL – September 30, 2022 – The Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County (@arshtcenter) is pleased to announce its first Latin GRAMMY®  nomination (@LatinGrammys). The 2022 nomination, in the “Best Long Form Music Video” category, recognizes the Center’s collaboration with extraordinary Miami-based flamenco artist Siudy Garrido (@siudygarrido) on the documentary “Bailaora—This is my voice.” Other nominees include superstars Rosalia, Romeo Santos, Natalia Lafourcade and Vetusta Morla.
