The Kravis Center is joining forces with the iconic 54 Below Cabaret Room in New York City and debuting a high profile series this season at the Rinker Playhouse. A popular venue for Big Apple Broadway and cabaret fans, 54 Below and the Kravis Center have partnered to feature a series of four performances. Singer Monica Mancini will headline a roster of artists who will perform the music of the late composer Henry Mancini, who would have turned 100 in 2024, on Friday, November 3 at the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts in downtown Miami. South Florida Theater Magazine attended the opening night of the performance to a near soldout crowd, and after watching the fairy tale unfold, it is understood why this company seems to have such a strong place in their local community, and greater. Overall, despite the following critiques, I thoroughly enjoy watching this company’s productions.
