The program celebrates its tenth anniversary with a hybrid virtual and in-person event.
TEDxBroadway has announced the initial list of speakers for its tenth anniversary program. The event, which was previously scheduled for this March, will now be held in person at New World Stages May 17 at 1 PM ET and live-streamed simultaneously on Stellar.
The lineup of speakers includes Bryan Joseph Lee, the founder of CNTR ARTS and a creative producer, arts marketer, and civic organizer; Sammy Lopez, a Be More Chill producer and co-founder of The Industry Standard Group and Second Act Theatrical Capital; Michael J. Bobbitt, executive director of Mass Cultural Council; Russell Granet, president and CEO of New 42; Ash Marinaccio, the founding artistic director of Girl Be Heard and creator of the digital documentary series Stage Left; Adam Sobel, a professor at Columbia University’s Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory and Engineering School; and theatre historian and Playbill editor Margaret Hall.
Additional speakers will be announced at a later date.
