Heritage Fest 2022 Coming to Thomson Plaza for the Arts February 5th

The Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County is pleased to announce the return of HERITAGE FEST to the Thomson Plaza for the Arts for its third consecutive year. HERITAGE FEST is a full day of free family fun celebrating Black heritage and excellence across South Florida.

Join them IN PERSON to uplift Black voices at our third annual Heritage Fest!

This free community event was designed to spotlight, celebrate and amplify artists representing the African Diaspora in our community. Heritage Fest 2022: Mind, Body and Soul presents an afternoon of free, fun-filled activities for the entire family.

Enjoy LIVE performances by Delou Africa and Kaylan Arnold, practice your dance moves with a konpa workshop, revitalize your mind and body with yoga (bring your mat!), jam to beats pumping on the dance floor by DJ Tillery James, meet Hot 105’s Jill Tracey and more!

Heritage Fest 2022 schedule:
3:00 p.m. Meet Hot 105’s Jill Tracey (until 5 p.m.), enjoy food trucks and vendors
3:30 p.m. Konpa workshop with KOTR Dance
4:00 p.m. Children’s Book Reading with Dr. Arnekua Jackson
4:30 p.m. Yoga with Denetrya Brookins (please bring a mat)
5:00 p.m. The Heritage Project: Race, Intimacy and Expression in Dance salon
5:00 p.m. Children’s Book Reading with Dr. Arnekua Jackson
5:30 p.m. Delou Africa performance
6:15 p.m. Kaylan Arnold performance
