The Wick Theatre in Boca Raton opens its ninth season this month with the five-time Tony Award-nominated musical, Milk and Honey, a sweet and inspirational musical full of romance and comedy. It stars New York Drama Desk Award-nominated actor and producer Avi Hoffman, renowned for his acclaimed performances celebrating his Jewish heritage.

Dubbed “America’s new romantic singing sensation,” Brooklyn-born, Nashville-based tenor Anthony Nunziata will join the South Florida Symphony Orchestra to kick off the John Knox Village Symphony Pops Series Monday, Oct. 10 at 7 p.m.

 This memory-nudging concert will celebrate tunes made famous by Old Blue Eyes himself along with Rat Pack buddies Dean Martin and Sammy Davis. Jr. Songs include “Once in a Lifetime,” “Come Rain or Come Shine,” “Just in Time,” “That’s Amore,” “Can’t Help Falling in Love,” “Unchained Melody” and “The Prayer.”

A genre-crashing music theater experience during which the Ocean tells its side of the story through an epic battle of wits and wills, smarts and sass, facts and anthropocentric fiction…

MIAMI, Sept. 22, 2022 –Live Arts Miami and the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County present the Southeast premiere of Ocean Filibuster, a new theater work from Obie Award-winning company PearlDamour. Presented as part of Live Arts Miami’s EcoCultura series of “Performances for the Planet,” the work was originally commissioned by American Repertory Theater in collaboration with the Harvard Center for the Environment. Drawing from myth, stand-up comedy and science, Ocean Filibuster plunges us into the most heated debate of our time. The show opens at 8 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 12, with multiple shows running through Sunday, Nov. 20, at the Adrienne Arsht Center in the Carnival Studio Theater. Over the past 20 years, many tribute bands featuring a Karen sound alike singer have come to South Florida to perform, including a Karen Carpenter- like singer from Miami.

The Wick Costume Museum has undergone a dramatic high-tech transformation, resulting in a stunning new venue, rechristened The Museum Club at The Wick. The completely renovated space will thrill guests with 360-degree immersive video experiences, historic costume displays, dining, and entertainment. The premiere exhibit, entitled Ascot! features the historic original 1956 costumes of My Fair Lady, designed by Sir Cecil Beaton. The Gala Grand Opening is Friday, September 16, 2022, 6:00 PM, and includes an intimate concert by Christine Andreas, who starred on Broadway as Eliza Doolittle.  Beginning in October, patrons can experience the exhibit by calling the box office at 561-995-2333.

LAUDERHILL, FL:  Arts Center Management (ACM), a multi-platform theatre management company, will partner with the City of Lauderhill to produce the Broadway at LPAC Series at the Lauderhill Performing Arts Center in 2023. The blockbuster three-show season kicks off in January 2023. This year’s lineup will feature the smash hit musicals The Full Monty, 42nd Street and Always Patsy Cline!
