The Veterans and Homefront Voices group has partnered with The Victory Dolls to sponsor multiple events honoring Veterans and their Homefront voices throughout the year. This past Tuesday on the 80th Anniversary of Pearl Harbor, Veterans, The Victory Dolls, and more joined for the event held at the Mizner Park Cultural Center in Boca Raton.
MNM Theatre Company will partner with North End Theater Company, the production division of Arts Center Management (ACM), a multi-platform theatre management company, to produce the Broadway at LPAC series at the Lauderhill Performing Arts Center. ACM recently signed a long-term contract to produce the series for the City of Lauderhill. The three-show 2022 season will feature the hit musicals Grease, Sister Act and Guys and Dolls.
From Gigi to Puccini and American classics, the winter arts season at Lynn University will feature fan favorites and critically acclaimed productions. Tickets are available online.The season kicked off with performances of Chicago and the university’s annual Gingerbread Holiday Concert.
HAIRSPRAY (@hairsprayontour), Broadway’s Tony Award-winning musical comedy phenomenon, will be presented at the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County (@arshtcenter) from December 28, 2021 – January 2, 2022. The new touring production, helmed by Jack O’Brien and Jerry Mitchell, will star Andrew Levitt aka Nina West (from “RuPaul’s Drag Race”)as Edna Turnblad, Niki Metcalf as Tracy Turnblad and Toneisha Harris (from NBC’s “The Voice”) as Motormouth Maybelle with Billy Dawson as Corny Collins, Will Savarese as Link Larkin, Emery Henderson as Penny Pingleton, Brandon G. Stalling as Seaweed J. Stubbs, Kaelee Albritton as Amber Von Tussle and Addison Garner as Velma Von Tussle.

Hugh Jackman, who started off his career starring in a series of stage musicals in Australia and in London’s West End including Beauty and the Beast, Sunset Boulevard, and Oklahoma!, celebrated his birthday October 12. He made his Broadway debut and won a Tony Award playing Peter Allen in The Boy From Oz in 2003, earned an Academy Award nomination as Jean Valjean in the 2012 film version of Les Misérables, and has hosted the Tony Awards four times. He was last seen on Broadway in The River.
